We had a nice Thanksgiving. Weather was not bad even though it rained all day. In Iowa, raining all day with no tornadoes is better than snowing all day or an ice storm, so no one minded the rain.
The 4 of us were home all day which is getting to be a rarity. Husband Pete works outside the home. Son Marty is going to school and working part time, I'm either running errands or teaching classes so I'm in and out during the day. Daughter Rose is working away on her novels and illustrations.
So it was fun to have everyone home. For our big meal we had Taco Bar with lettuce taco shells. Marty and I can't eat gluten or most grains, so we tend to follow a paleo diet. The tacos were great. We didn't have to spend too much time getting everything together and it's always fun to fix tacos how you want.
Rose and I did a little bit of Black Friday shopping this morning !!! Our favorite consignment shop, Rags to Riches, had some great sales and we both came home with a bag crammed with clothing !

This afternoon I went into R. Rabbit's Fiber Studio http://r-rabbitsfiberstudio.com/ to help out with the day's Make and Take project and generally hang out. We worked on needle felted pumpkins !! That's me in the middle with the red flowered sweater ! We had alot of fun !!
